Each plan offers a variety of service coverage options. Toyota Extra Care used vehicle protection plans are available only at the time you purchase your used vehicle. Used Vehicle Protection Plan Summaries Platinum Protection Our highest level of extended service coverage for virtually every component group in your vehicle. If your vehicle component does not appear on our List of Excluded Components , it is covered by Used Vehicle Platinum. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 5 years/60,000 miles. To qualify, your used vehicle must be a current model year or within the last 9 model years fewer than 125,000 total miles. Platinum Vehicle Service Agreement Brochure Gold Protection Provides extended service coverage for most major components. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 5 years/85,000 miles. To qualify, your used vehicle must be a current model year or within the last 9 model years with fewer than 125,000 total miles. Gold Vehicle Service Agreement Brochure Powertrain Protection Provides extended service coverage for engine, transmission, and axle-assembly components. Coverage terms range from 1 year/12,000 miles to 2 years/24,000 miles.
